About Us
Our passion for growing and using herbs has never felt like work.
Trembling Aspens is located in a small town called Castor Centre, in the Niagara region. It is an hour from Toronto and 45 minutes from Niagara Falls.
My wife and I live on a 10-acre farm and have been growing herbs for the last 20 years. Our herbs are all organically grown. Trembling Aspens started off with my wife and our two children, but since they got married, our staff has now evolved to the two of us and our 5 grandchildren.
We love trying to make new products and experimenting with different recipes.
When we first started growing our herbs, we needed to decide what we would do with all the extra herbs left over from harvest, so we decided to start producing small batches of herbal products. Some of the herbal products we started making were jellies, jams, vinegar, oils, and now hot sauces!
We have also started to make body products with some of these herbs. Since I also have a degree in Aromatherapy, I wanted to experiment in making bath products. Some of these products include body soaps, body wash, lip balms and bath bombs.

If you come visit our farm, you will be able to meet our grandchildren's pets. These include 4 alpacas named Macintosh, Butterscotch, Sparky, and Caramel. We allow customers to pet our alpacas and even take them for walks down our apple orchard to the back forest. You can book an appointment to walk them here! We have 100 chickens that lay eggs every day, a rabbit named Walter, and two dogs named Adele and Marley.
